Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province (also called "Canton") in southern China, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macau, and has a population of over 10 million. It is the economic centre of the Pearl River Delta, one of mainland China's leading commercial and manufacturing regions. The language of the area are well known by westerners as "Cantonese" which is the most common dialect among early overseas Chinese. Guangzhou has been known as the "Flower City" since the flowers are in bloom year around. Therefore, whenever you travel to Guangzhou, the city is always ready to welcome its guests with pleasant weather and beautiful Red Kapok.

Guangzhou is certainly one of the most interesting cities in China, which receives numbers of foreign visitors currently. Being called the "Southern Gate of China", Guangzhou is the transportation and communication hub for Southern China, making the travel in or around the city almost effortless.
