Answer: Wuwei city has been established since Han dynasty. It is still far from Wuwei to Jiayuguan Great Wall, taking about 1 day by bus. But train is also available. Actually, you can also take a tour in Wuwei, there are some tour attractions related to Han dynasty as well as visible desert in Wuwei, which cater for the hiking.
