You can find out the city on the central part of China. Yinchuan is the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and former capital of the Western Xia Empire of the Tanguts. It has an area of 4,467 km² and a total population of 1.65 million. The name literally means "silver river". The city's attractions include the Sand-lake and the Western Xia tombs.
