Travel to Cang Mountain can get you a gorgeous view of the beauty of nature. Cang Mountain, also known as Dianchanshan, is part of the Yunling Mountain Range and forms an ending section of the Hengduan Mountains. There are 18 different brooks flow down to Erhai Lake from the mountain. The mountain forms a powerful backdrop to the west of Dali's old city. The range, which runs north-south along Erhai Lake, averages 3,500 meters above sea level and is snow-capped throughout the year. The highest peak is more than 4,100 meters and the nearest peak to ancient Dali is about 9 hours drive. An easy 13 kilometer trail high up along the mountainside

The mountain is home to more than 3,000 species of plants, mainly coniferous trees, grasses and shrubs. There are eight different wonders that can be found on the mountain that are worth seeing, with some of those being Clear Streams Running over the Pebble Bed in Early Winter, Spring Snow on Cangshan and Multistage Falls
