Almost all guide books will refer you to Jiuzhaigou as a fairyland when you travel to China. Located in the north of Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou is full of picturesque scenery of green lakes, waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, forests and wild animal and plant reserves. The city was admitted by UNESO into the World Natural Heritages in 1992, the World Biosphere Reserve in 1997, and is also certified as sustainable by Green Globe 21. Attracting both local and foreign visitors, Jiuzhaigou is an extremely popular travel destination in the province of Sichuan, with the best travel season being in autumn, from September to November.

Jiuzhaigou is the home of nine Tibetan villages, just like a jewel set in the mountains blending in harmony with each other. Historically, Jiuzhaigou has been home to small population of Tibetan and Qiang people, and provides a good opportunity to get to know more about the locals' unique life and culture. You can try some of the typical local foods and pick up a number of the reasonably-priced, locally-produced goods of the Tibetan and Qiang groups are something of a must on your travel. In the evening the a mixture of ethnic performance, which features wonderful costumes, tibetan themed local music and dancing, is great fun.

The construction of the Jiuzhaigou Ring Way which links the reserve with Chengdu and the Jiuhuang Airport, makes gaining travel in this area a great deal easier. Jiuzhaigou National Park is the key travel attractions in this area. It remains a well maintained and popular travel destination, especially for those seeking a glimpse of heaven on earth. Fortunately, this area was not experience any damage during the earthquake of May 2008 and never closed after the event. Besides, the city is one of the few places where you can see the giant panda in its natural habitat and the golden monkey. I really want to discover Jiuzhaigou with my husband. But we only can travel on December or January. Will the station be closed? Which month is ths best to travel to Jiuzhaigou? Will we find hotel? Thanks you.

Actually, from April to November are all the best time to visit Jiuzhaigou. It all depends on your luck that if it will snow in January. If so, the traffic there will be inconvenient. Hotels can be found any time. And the prices are good in low seasons.
