Qingdao Travel Guide

-Travel to Qingdao

Qingdao's history, religion, natural conditions, native customs and its festivals constitute the city's travel culture. It is not only an important economic and cultural hub in the eastern coast of China, but also an international coastal resort, a famous Chinese historical and cultural city and the central city of Chinese marine scientific research and marine industry development. Despite such an urban bulk, it behaves in the confident manner of a travel resort. Its rare mesh of mountains and sea combine with a fairytale beachfront setting of Bavarian architecture to conjure strange expectations of women in bikinis and men in lederhosen snacking on hot apple strudel with chopsticks.

Lying on southeast of Shandong Province, Qingdao is one of the country's largest industrial centers and port cities. The primary resources in Qingdao are graphite, gold, granite, turquoise, and crystal. It is also rich in sea resources, including fish, and salt. The chief farm products are wheat, peanuts, and fruit. A unique blend of sea and mountains makes Qingdao a well-known summer travel desination. The city boosts beautiful beaches and mountains, such as the Mausoleum of 500 Martyrs in Tianheng, the Nanlan Relic in Laixi, and the Gucheng Relic. With an average temperature ranging from 20-28 degrees celsius, the period from July through September is the most agreeable season for the travel.

There are four distinctive travel areas including the western old town, which exhibits the features of modern western cities, the eastern new town which shows the features of international modern cities, the hinterland of the city which features Jiaodong folk cultures, and suburbs featuring cultural relics and historic sites for the viewing pleasure of younger generations. Thanks for your inquiry. Zhanqiao Pier is 440 meter (1,440ft) strip that stretches into the sea that was built in 1891 and was the first wharf in Qingdao. I think it’s a good choice to have a look since you gonna travel there for a week. Please check your email, I’ve sent you an itinerary for your upcoming travel.
