Yunlong Lake Guide

The Yunlong Lake is a well-known travel spot. It stands in Xuzhou City of Jiangsu Province. It adjoins Hanshan Hill in the west, borders Yunlong Hill in the east and connects with Dashantou Hill and Pig Hill in the south. The lake covers an area of 5.8 square kilometers, with a road built in the middle, which is like a jade strip cutting the lake into the eastern and western parts. Several docks are built in the eastern lake, providing tourists with various kinds of boats such as big yacht and speeding boat. The Yunlong Lake is surrounded by mountains on three sides. On

the north side of the lake is a huge causeway of about 10 li (5 km) long and 37.5 meters high. Standing on the causeway and looking far into the distance, one will have a panoramic view of the fascinating scenery.To the east side of the Ten-li Long Causeway, a huge swimming area is set up along the lake, covering an area of 150, 000 square meters. It is built of concrete at its base and artificial sand beach along its sides.
