-Travel to Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland opened on September 12, 2005 after several years of construction. The park is jointly owned by The Walt Disney Company and the Hong Kong Government and managed by Hong Kong International Theme Parks. It is the fifth Disneyland theme park in the world. The theme park has four areas that are familiar with those in the USA: Adventure land, Fantasyland, Tomorrow land and Main St. USA. Inside the park there are also several well known attractions, such as Sleeping Beauty's Castle, the Mad Hatter Tea Cups, Space Mountain, Orbit Ron and several others. Hong Kong Disneyland is a must-see because of its special attractions and the inimitable sense of Chinese culture. Walking into Hong Kong Disneyland, you feel you are in a wonderland.

If you have enough courage and feel courageous, try Adventureland. Guided by a brave captain, Jungle River Cruise will take you into the heart of hidden regions. Hippos, cobras, elephants, orangutans and startling jungle events are waiting for you. Traveling by raft in the Rivers of Adventure, you land at your destination: Tarzan Island. Exploring Tarzan Island and visiting Tarzan's Treehouse reminds you of the story of this human child raised by gorillas. After your travel to Tarzan Island, follow the rhythm of jungle drums to find the secret of Liki Tikis. Once you are in the circle, the refreshing blasts of water will surprise even the hardiest explorer.

There are also some new areas unique to Disneyland Hong Kong, like Inspiration Lake, where people can rent boats and ride them in the large arboretum. There are also several shows and parades in the park, as well as a fireworks display every night at 8pm. Disneyland Hong Kong is, however, the smallest Disneyland park, yet the experience is very different from the others, especially since it is located in Hong Kong, a unique city unto itself. The capacity of the park is 34,000 visitors per day. The park attracted 5.2 million visitors in its first year and 4.5 million visitors in 2007-2008 fiscal years.
