Hi, I am in Chengdu now and I’d like to visit a place different from the common ones. So do you have any recommendation?

Name:Re:Chengdu Tour

Thanks for your asking. I recommend you the Hailuogou, or trumpet shell valley. It is one of Sichuan's lesser-known attractions, about 300 kilometers southwest of Chengdu, the capital. It offers a panoramic vista that includes the snow-covered 7,556-meter-high peak of Mount Konka, often called the king of mountains in Sichuan. You can also see a rare low-altitude glacier, silent Tibetan prayer stone altars, beautiful trees and lovely animals - all encompassed in crystal clear pure air. So if you are nimble on your feet, and enjoy a good energetic hike up the mountains, your reward will be a peaceful piece of paradise undisturbed by cacophonous crowds.

How many hours does it take from Chengdu to Hailuogou?

Name:Re: Hailuogou Trave Guide

It takes about 7-hour drive from Chengdu to Hailuogou.

I am going to visit Panda in China. Can you recommend a place for me?

Name:Re:The Chengdu Panda Base Tour

I think The Chengdu Panda Base is a great choice. It is a well-known institution for the preservation of endangered wildlife, integrating scientific research and breeding of giant pandas, conservation education, tourism education, and panda cultural events. You can have a close look at the pandas there.

Hello, I’d like to visit Pingle Anciet Town in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Could you please tell me how to get there from the urban of Chengdu?

Name:Re:Pingle Anciet Town Travel

Of course. It is 65 km away from the urban of Chengdu, and 18 km away from Qionglai. Take bus from Xin Nan Men Bus Station to Qiong Lai City(2 hours). There are many mini vans to Pingle Ancient Town(half hour) in Qiong Lai City Long Distance Bus Station. The fastest way is to take the bus from Jin Sha Bus Station which is located in West of downtown, it o¬nly takes 1 hours to Qiong Lai City.

Name:Chengdu Snacks Reply

I’d like to visit Sichuan Province, China and I have heard that there are many delicious snacks in Chengdu. Can you recommend some authentic kinds to me?

Name:Re: Chengdu Snacks

Certainly. Actually the real gourmet lure comes from food stands and small restaurants scattered on the streets of Chengdu. I will recommend some to you: Catholic Church Chicken Slices, Dan Hong Gao, or Chengdu-styled Mini Pancake, San Da Pao, or Three Cannonballs, Ma La Tang, or Spicy and Hot, Leng Dan Bei, or Cold Dishes and Beer, Little Tan’s Tofu, etc
