Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Lies in the central section of Ningxia Plain, with the Yellow River to the east and Helan Mountain to the west. Yinchuan enjoys abundant water resources and gains its reputation of “a land of fish and rice in the frontier”. Yinchuan is made up of 2 counties and 3 districts, covering an area of 3499 square kilometer.
